The Weekday Amud Siddur is a basic siddur designed for use on regular weekdays, Rosh Chodesh, Chol HaMoed, and Chanukah for the Chazzan. This book is laid out as much as possible in such a manner as to avoid making the Chazzan turn the page while reading aloud. This book is also designed to reduce the need to turn back to a bare minimum. For example, every Tefilloh that has a Chazoras HaShatz contains two Amidos, in order to remove the need to turn back after the silent Amidah. This book follows the customs of K'hal Adath Jeshurun of Monsey, Inc.

Materials

Paper: Acid-free #60 (90gsm) paper, available in cream and white colors.

Binding: Reinforced glue binding.

Cover: Linen wrap cover is made from a polyester-based cloth material which is wrapped around #140 cardboard.

Paper cover is made from #140 cardboard with a glossy texture. In the Chazzan collection, these have a matte texture in hardcover and glossy texture in softcover.
